Mark

CEO & President

Mark B. Manzo is a graduate of the Wharton School in Philadelphia, with a Masters in Real Estate Development from Johns Hopkins in DC.  He is the blessed and grateful father of two boys and a dog.  Over the last 20 years, Mark has worked with his father and local banks to build a successful track record in middle-market commercial real estate in the DC/Baltimore area.

His background in leveraged buyouts and private equity under the mentorship of Steve Kandarian (former MetLife CEO) at Steve's boutique private equity firm, Orion Partners, helped him acquire the rigorous deal analysis skills he uses to assess the risk of each project he pursues.

Since 2003, Mark has worked to develop / re-develop over $85M in commercial assets with a current student and multifamily pipeline on the East Coast.  KindBild has formed a Qualified Opportunity Zone Fund to invest in its current pipeline of OZ projects.

He is a devoted follower of Christ and strives to give back to the essential human and wildlife causes necessary to feed the hungry, protect the innocent, improve our quality of life, and sustain our planet.

Finding refuge in the spirituality of Nature, Mark enjoys golf, flyfishing, disc golf, mountain biking, hiking, surf fishing, and playing piano and guitar.

Mark has lived and worked all over the country, including Charlotte (corporate banking), Boston (private equity), SanFrancisco (private equity), Baltimore and DC (real estate).

We hire third party consultants such as award-winning architects, engineers and lawyers to help advance our projects and accomplish economic and environmental goals that benefit all parties.
